Spring Book Fair - The spring book fair continues in the north lobby. Come by to see all the wonderful books we have to offer. The proceeds from this book fair will help the school to add new books to the library for next year. Teacher Wish List will be posted in the lobby for anyone who would like to purchase and donate books for the classroom. The book fair will be open Monday thru Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and Wednesday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Muffins with Moms - Moms, please join us for muffins with your kids this Thursday, May 8th in the cafeteria. We will be serving from 7:45-8:20 am. Moms of MWF Pre-K students, we ask that you join us for muffins at the preschool blue desk on Friday, May 9th 8:00-8:20 am.
Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donations Program - Kroger has launched a new program in which they will donate $1 million to local organizations in Texas and Louisiana. This program will replace the Kroger Share Card Program. We are excited that the program is effortless to use, beyond a one time enrollment to link your Kroger Plus Card to our school. Stop by the reception desk to pick up a Customer Letter. This letter explains that on your next visit to Kroger you will simply have the cashier scan the bar code on the letter as well as your Kroger Plus Card and you are instantly enrolled. Invite your cousins, aunts, grandparents, friends, and neighbors to enroll. The more we spend, the greater the percentage that Kroger will donate to our school.
End of School Program - Mark your calendars for the end of school program ?We Can Praise'. It will be held here in the sanctuary at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 15th. You won't want to miss this exciting performance by our students in 1st grade and up.
Library Books - All library books should be turned in no later than May 23, 2008. Failure to return library books and clear your account will result in a hold being placed on your report card.
Ugandan Baptist Seminary Students - The names of the three students we are sponsoring are Mulaye Mulamba, Karegeye John, and Mwungeri Paul. Through Friday ice cream sales and donations, we have raised $900 to date. Keep those donations coming so we can impact our world with the truth of the gospel.
Spanish Teacher for 2008-2009 - Eagle Heights Christian Academy is looking for a full-time Spanish teacher for grades 1st through 10th for the 2008-09 school year. If interested, please contact the school office at 281-485-6330.
Students for Recycling - EHCA is participating in a recycling program that turns plastic into backpacks for children in need. The top 50 schools across the country will win a $1000 gift card from Sam's Club. Please help, and ask your neighbors and grandparents to help, by collecting clean plastic soft drink and water bottles. We can accept plastics graded as #1.
EHCA 2007-2008 Yearbooks - It's not too late to order. The price is now $25.
