EHCA is using an AR (Accelerated Reading) program.  To participate in the AR program, students can earn points by reading books for pleasure and then taking a comprehension test on those books.  Students will collect AR points for the semester and can redeem the points for prizes at the end of each semester.  In an effort to encourage students to become life-long readers - EHCA has implemented SOAR (Stop Often And Read) which takes place 1 to 2 times per month.
